Hardest Thing About Writing

Staring at a blank page is intimidating as hell; you get paralyzed by the sheer number of ways a piece could go. But the problem with surrending to this paralysis is that you get stuck at zero-for fear of the many, many things which you could be doing, you end up doing nothing at all.
My English teacher when I am in Grade 10, told me that writing without inspiration was a learnable skill. But today, I've learned that it's more than that; it's a necessity. When it comes to writing, dance, music, sports, anything at which you want to get better- if you truly want to get better you have to be able to do it when you're not in the mood.
The hardest thing about writing, I find, is getting started.
